The St. Joseph’s Health Care Auxiliary was formed October 15, 1938 and is relied upon to support the hospital, not only with volunteer services, but also assisting with the quality of care for the whole person, body, mind and spirit, and financially by buying equipment.
The Auxiliary operates an in-hospital canteen service and gift shop. Volunteers knit baby wear and slippers for sale; make and distribute favors to all patients on special holidays, collect rental fees for TVs and phones, and they visit with patients.
