Estevan Family and Friends is a local advocacy group interested in supporting those with intellectual disabilities in and around Estevan. They believe that everyone should have the choice as to where they want to live and work and what role they would like to play in their community. They encourage those with intellectual disabilities to get involved in their community through leisure, employment and recreational opportunities. Whether people choose to live in group homes, assisted living or independent living, Family and Friends provides the supports necessary for them to be included and accepted in their community.
