The Arthritis Society
Over 2,800 people in Estevan are living with one or more types of
arthritis.
Arthritis is a serious health issue affecting 4.5 millions Canadians.
Over 140,000 men, women and children in Saskatchewan are living with
arthritis. This number is expected to increase in our province as the
baby boomers reach the high-risk arthritis years.
The Arthritis Society is the only organization, public or private,
solely devoted to helping people with arthritis. Our Mission is to
provide leadership and funding in research, advocacy and solutions to
improve the quality of life for Canadians affected by arthritis. Our
Vision is “Living Well While Creating a Future without Arthritis”.
We’ll be back in the Estevan community this year to better meet the
needs of people in Estevan living with arthritis, providing free
arthritis educational workshops on various topics, and creating
awareness of local health practitioners who can support people living
with arthritis and their caregivers more effectively.
Actively participate in your arthritis health management. If you or
someone you know lives with arthritis call us at 1.800.321.1433 — we
can help! For more information on arthritis and the Society’s arthritis
programs and services visit our website at www.arthritis.ca (click on
